Junior Church
Ages 10 and up
Snacks, discussion, hang outs
Where Bible stories are made relevant
Teens are introduced to thought provoking topics that challenge their understanding of the Bible and make Biblical principles relatable to life. Using discussion-based curriculum, common Bible stories, such as Noah and the Ark or the Israelites entering the Promised Land, are viewed in a new perspective. Teens are encouraged to ask questions as the teachers make ancient Biblical stories relevant to modern life. Candy and snacks are provided.
Kids Room - Explore the Bible
Ages 4-9
Crafts, activities, questions
Where kids explore the Bible
Your child will broaden their understanding of the Bible. They will learn about the disciples, the early Christian church, and the history of the ancient Israelites. Each week the children learn a new Bible verse that corresponds to the lesson. Teachers use crafts, games, and discussion to bring the lessons to life and engage the children. Some lessons incorporate historical pictures, such as the landscape of Israel, or the clothing people would have worn in the ancient world, to help the children better understand life during Biblical times. The children are invited to ask questions and bring their wonder and imagination to the classroom.
Toddlers Room - Meet the Bible
Ages 1-3
Play, color, imagine
Where toddlers are introduced to the Bible
Your toddler will learn Bible basics through songs, stories, and coloring. Teachers introduce characters such as Moses, Jesus, and Jonah and the Whale. During class, toddlers are encouraged to act out Biblical principles such as sharing, and being kind to each other, through pretend play and group activities. Classroom decorations and themes are changed throughout the year to bring excitement and imagination as the children play and learn.
Kids Serve
Ages 5 and up
Serve, learn, grow
Where children put others first
In the Kids Serve program, the child will work alongside a volunteer to learn how different ministries function. The child will explore what it means to work on a team, and why it’s important to think of others’ needs first. Based on their age and abilities, the children will take on simple tasks and responsibilities such as cleaning tables, or preparing classroom supplies. The mentor will offer guidance, encouragement, and support as the child learns to serve. Each session ends with a parent, volunteer, child meeting to discuss the child’s growth and to encourage the child to pursue their God-given interests.
